Hall Back In The Top Five With Third At Old Dominion
Kyle Hall has been on a hot streak in 2007 at Old Dominion Speedway (VA). In his first season in the Late Model Stock Car division, Hall has yet to finish outside the top-10. However, a string of bad luck incidents has kept him out of the top five since June of this season. That is until Saturday when Hall overcame mechanical issues to finish third.

“We were working on the car hard just about the whole weekend to get prepared for this race,” said Hall. “In practice we were in the top three all day. We were pretty confident going into qualifying. Then I couldn’t get the car to start, so we came to the conclusion that the battery went dead. We are not sure if we left the fan on or something, but we ended up not being able to get any scuff laps before qualifying.”
Just like previous races of the season, Hall and his team kept their mind in the game, bringing home another solid finish.
“We ended up starting seventh, and the car handled good the whole day. We picked off one person at a time. I got to the back of second place and ended up following him to the finish.”
Kyle Hall will return to Lowe’s Motor Speedway (NC) for the final round of the Summer Shootout series in his #69 Semi-Pro Legends car on Tuesday, August 7th, then he will be back in his #69 Late Model Stock Car at Old Dominion Speedway (VA) on Saturday, August 11th.
