April was a good month for Kyle Hall Racing - April 26thth

After a successful race the last time at Southern National Raceway Park, Hall entered the pits determined to win another feature. The crew had worked all week to rebuild the original motor and get it back into the car.
However, instead of the normal 50-lap race, Hall and crew were looking at a grueling, engine crunching 100-lap feature. During practice, the rebuilt engine proved fast. Going into qualifying, Hall was anxious to see what kind of time he could lay down.
The car was blazingly fast during the qualifying run and Hall qualified an impressive second, missing the lead by only .015 seconds. Because of an inversion, Hall was forced to start in 4th place.
At the start, Hall fell back to 7th and stayed there, conserving his tires and waited for the race to unfold. When there were forty laps left in the race, the conservation worked and Hall ran all the way up to the second position. Seven laps later he closed on the leaders after a caution. With a few laps to go, Hall passed the leader and pulled away, giving Hall his 2nd win in a row.
