Kyle's Bio

Washington, DC is mainly known for politicians, but the United States governmental hub is also the birthplace of Kyle Hall, a young talent in the motorsports industry.

Born in 1991, at an early age Hall was more interested in going fast than the happenings on Capital Hill.  At the age of four, Hall strapped on the helmet for some two-wheel racing action on his first motorcycle, a Yamaha 80.  A few years later Hall was ready to tackle four wheels in Karting.

Between 1998 and 2004 Hall won 98 Go-Kart races, including 12 state championships in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina.  He also won World Kart Association (WKA) races in South Carolina and Indiana.

In 2004, Hall was ready for the next step in his career by taking to the wheel of a Legends Car.  In his rookie year in the bigger car, Hall amassed multiple top finishes, including his first Legends win at Langley Speedway (VA).  His success carried on to the 2005 season, where he racked up three wins and placed in the top-four spots 15 out of 19 races during the season at tracks such as South Boston Speedway (VA), Caraway Speedway (NC) and Shenandoah Speedway (VA).  His stellar run also netted Hall with the 2005 Maryland State Championship.

The 2006 season saw more of the same for the young driver, grabbing wins at Old Dominion Speedway (VA) and Lanier National (GA) as well as top-five finishes at Orange County Speedway (NC), Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) and Concord Motorsport Park (NC).

In 2007, Hall was ready for his next step in the industry by moving up to the Late Model Stock Car realm at his home track of Old Dominion Speedway.  It didn’t take long for the racer to get up to speed with a heavier beast to wield around the facility.  In his first year of Late Model

Stock racing, Hall completed every points race at the track, finishing in the top 10 every time out.  Hall also won three times throughout the season, setting a track record for the youngest person in Old Dominion Speedway to win a Late Model Stock feature.  He completed the season second in overall ODS points and was crowned the Rookie of the Year.

Hall also wasn't quite ready to shed himself from the Legends Car world as he competed in the Summer Shootout at Lowe's Motor Speedway during the summer months.  Even with the grueling schedule of racing his Late Model Stock on the weekends and his Legends Car on Tuesdays,  Hall was able to snag a victory during the 10 rounds of action out of the hundreds of competitors that showed up to race in the Summer Shootout, ending the season third in overall Semi-Pro points.
In 2008, Hall will continue to impress by stepping up into a Late Model touring series and continue to progress his racing career.
